Pizza Man Makes Savory GOP Presidential Candidate

Do you know who Herman Cain is? It's okay, because no one else really does either. But he might be running for president! And he has some serious qualifications: Cain used to run the Godfather's Pizza chain. Mmm. And if that doesn't tempt your taste buds, the AP has some more info on this mysterious pizza man:

Cain, 65, from suburban Atlanta, has visited Iowa several times recently and will return to Des Moines on Monday for a conservative forum. Cain likely will express views similar to other speakers, including former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum, but he'll offer a vastly different resume.

We're guessing he has a "vastly different resume" because Newt Gingrich doesn't sling pizzas, and Cain doesn't write weird historical novels about the Civil War. The AP also has this:

He left the company in 1996 and among other positions has worked as host of a radio program in Atlanta, where he espoused his views against abortion and in support of a strong national defense, a smaller government and a return to the gold standard.

Oh god. So he's basically Newt Gingrich crossed with Ron Paul. Nevermind.
