In the last two episodes of NBC's sci-fi/suspense drama, many mysteries are solved and a family reunion occurs. The show fails to keep up a compelling narrative and by the third car crash, you get bored.

The story focuses on the detainees in the top-secret government facility. There's a split amongst the aliens and one of them decides to forcibly release everyone who's been detained. Sterling gets shot early on in the episode but bravely, and unrealistically, fights the baddie aliens. He gets shot in the back, runs around the facility, gets punched in the face and tortured, gets shot twice more and is still alive. Somehow, adrenaline rush doesn't quite explain it. Wait, we thought he was human!

Then for the spectacular end, Whatshername releases Sterling. He runs off the helicopter, gets shot again and falls down. Whatshername follows him out and also gets shot in the back, but it appears she's fatally wounded. Her last words are about how all aliens don't feel the same way about the destroying the human race.

In the other storyline, Leila and Jason Ritter rescue Leila's younger sister from some truck. At one point they run off into the woods and meet up with Leila's father, who escapes a moving truck with the help of Sophia, the head alien or something. It's a little less complicated than that, but ultimately everyone is in the same place talking about conspiracies and invasions; you know, dinner table conversations. Leila has an existential crisis about being an alien and rants endlessly about choices and leaving Jason Ritter.

The show ends with some rocks and mysterious conversations about a meeting of some sort. Despite two eventful episodes, the show doesn't make much sense in the end.
