It seems every other week brings news of some, usually female, celebrity's Twitter or Facebook page being taken over by hackers. It's possible they were all perpetrated by the same individual(s). According to TMZ, 50 celebrities have been targeted by a "hacking ring," which has broken into their computers and cell phones and stolen embarrassing pictures and videos. Scarlett Johansson supposedly had a nude picture stolen from her iPhone and Vanessa Hudgens met with the FBI yesterday over her own leaked nudes, according to TMZ.
Here's a partial list of victims: Jessica Alba, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Christina Aguilera, Scarlett Johansson, Ali Larter, Busy Phillips, Miley Cyrus, Emma Caulfiled, Addison Timlin and Renee Olstead. (who?)
TMZ says the feds are closing in on one of the hackers' ringleader, so our country's most precious resource, celebrities, will be safe. We're certainly interested in learning more about this creepy celebrity-obsessed wiz kid who's trying to make a name for themselves by releasing nude shots of barely-legal songstresses. Rumors are floating around that notorious Miley Cyrus hacker Josh 'Trainreq' Holly had something to do with this spree, but people could just be mixing up his old 2008 hack.
