An anonymous Ukranian buyer purchased the most expensive apartment in the United Kingdom in 2007, paying $221 million in cash through an offshore trust to buy the penthouse of the One Hyde Park apartment complex. What does $221 million get you?

Well: In this case, three whole floors in One Hyde Park, which was completed this past January. Plus the building's many amenities, including a "dedicated team of 60 Mandarin Oriental hotel trained staff," a "private cinema" and bulletproof windows. (Because what's the point of being rich if you can't be paranoid?) The building is also made from "15 different types of stone," if that's the kind of thing that gets you going. Anyway: If you want one of these flats, you'd better act now, as most of them have apparently been sold.
