Erik Wemple was the longtime editor of the Washington City Paper, where he routinely ripped the Washington Post various new assholes, as is the job of any good alt-weekly editor. A little over a year ago, Wemple left the WCP to join TBD.com, the hot new startup that would revolutionize online local news in DC.
Well. TBD only took about a year to fizzle. And now, Wemple is leaving TBD—for the Washington Post. Keach Hagey reports that "He'll write an opinionated blog focusing on media and politics, reporting to Fred Hiatt."
Don't forget to tell Fred Hiatt that he's a pathetic establishment cocksucker, Erik. We expect you to keep it real over there.
