We're used to videos of New York being sped up with the flashing lights of time-lapse movies, but this video of Brooklyn does the opposite and slows everything down. God, it's so like Brooklyn to be contrary.
But honestly the scenes in "8 Hours in Brooklyn" by Next Level Pictures are pretty damn awesome. There are people playing basketball, getting tattoos (ouch), and breakdancing and skateboarding so slowly you can see every single movement of their bodies. My personal favorite is the scene of kids playing in a busted fire hydrant: The speed of the film makes the water look like it's snow gently falling.
So does this mean I'm going to have to start liking Brooklyn?
