Donald Trump bought himself a gold-plated 757 so that he can cruise around the country and pretend like he's running for president in a desperate attempt to remain in the spotlight. Knowing how much everyone in America cares about the details of his private air fleet, Trump posted a video tour of the monstrosity on YouTube. Let's check it out.
Here's Amanda (the secretary on Celebrity Apprentice) showing us around the joint. Naturally there are seats emblazoned with the Trump crest, a personalized entertainment system with all of The Donald's favorite movies (Wall Street, Scarface, and Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium), and, of course, 24-karat gold (ahem, plated) seat belts. And let's not forget about his personal bedroom covered in "yards and yards of gold silk" made by Rumpelstiltskin himself and the VIP area. Because even when you're 30,000 feet above ground in a private jet, there still needs to be stratification. Excuse me, but isn't the VIP area in any plane the cockpit? If something happens to the pilot, then all of you motherfuckers are dead meat, no matter how many companies you've ruined or debt you've accumulated.
The most ironic part is this video comes just days after Donald's screed against Palm Beach International Airport and its wasteful ways (#WhitePeopleProblems). The Donald says the airport's plan to add another runway is just "squandering money on useless projects" and "waste is waste, even if it creates jobs." Good thing they didn't squander all that money on gold plating.
