We all know that Ozzy Osbourne is a mutant freak, and that's why he isn't dead. But did you know his music has the power to find lost children? Well, one lost child, at any rate?
Joshua Robb, an eight-year-old autistic boy, ran away from school into the San Bernadino forest on Monday. According to NBC LA, Robb "hides from loud noises and strangers," making searching for him difficult. But the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department had a secret weapon: The Wizard of Oz.
Play his two favorite songs and Joshua will start singing.
So deputies traveled the San Bernardino National Forest using their public address system to play "No More Tears" by Ozzy Osbourne and "Good Time" by Alan Jackson.
Joshua Robb, 8, was found about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday approximately one mile northwest from the school he ran away from on Monday, said Jodi Miller of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.
It's a heartwarming story! Just ignore the part about how the Robb family is homeless after being foreclosed on, and Joshua is the custody of Child Protective Services. That's the new normal, anyway!
