Rupert Murdoch Sells Long Island Mansion After 5 Years on the MarketS

It seems that after rotting in real estate limbo for nearly five years, Rupert Murdoch and wife Wendi Deng have reportedly sold their Oyster Bay mansion, Rosehearty.

While news of the sale remains speculation at this point, rumor has it the 10,000-square-foot mansion sold for $9.1 million. A bundle, sure, but a staggering $5.7 million less than the original 2007 asking price of $14.8 million. Those poor Murdochs. Is there no end to their suffering? It's so unfair when bad things happen to good people.
