Babysitter Crawls Through Doggy Door to Steal for Her 'Porn Addiction'

One of the major crises facing the U.S. right now is overwhelming consumer debt. How can Americans be expected to stimulate the economy when they're paying off their student loans, or their mortgages, or their... 20 to 30 pornographic DVDs?

So we expect Occupy Wall Street to declare solidarity with young Minnesotan Amanda Owens, who apparently broke into a house through the doggy door on three occasions, stealing a jar filled with about $300, a camera and a brief case. Owens—who used to babysit for the family she was stealing from—also stole a Red Bull. And the reason for the theft?

She said she stole things she thought she could pawn to help support her pornography addiction. The teenager said she recently had bought 20 to 30 pornographic DVDs and needed to pay them off, the complaint said.

Consumer debt! What can you say?
