Racquel Bailey wants nothing more than a chance to be Tyler Perry's "next leading lady."
Quite literally nothing: The 23-year-old told 11Alive News she spent her "last money for the year" — $1,500 — on a self-promoting billboard situated two miles away from Perry's southwest Atlanta studios. "I hoped he would see it while he was driving to work, or on his way home from work, or that someone would see it!" Bailey said.
On the billboard is a link to her website, where the tenacious thespian, who is an off-Broadway regular, posted her demo reel for all to judge.
With all of this attention over he public display of aspiration ("Getting ready for the fox 5 interview in atlanta," she tweeted yesterday, "after the essence magazine"), perhaps by the time Perry calls, he may no longer be able to afford her.
