Jerry Sandusky Made Victim Sign Contract to Keep Seeing Him, and Other Gross Trial Revelations

Prepare yourself — the Jerry Sandusky trial has begun, and we're about to learn more and more horrifying details about a history of child sexual abuse.

The most recent testimony comes from Victim 4, who alleges that Sandusky made the boy sign a contract to keep seeing him. The "Program," which Sandusky established in 1999, offered $1,000 for every year of the boy's continuing education, with additional money for attending hockey practice and seeing Sandusky.

While the defense attorney suggested that the "Program" was simply designed to better the boy's life, Victim 4 responded strongly, noting that it came after three years of sexual abuse — as much as three times a week.

No, no. You're not understanding. This is when I'm trying to get away from him. I signed it to shut him up. And that's not the only thing it's offering me money for... It's not that simple, not in my mind, sorry.

What began as "soap battles" in the Penn State showers became increasingly aggressive and explicitly sexual, Victim 4 alleges. According to his testimony, Sandusky eventually overpowered him by force.

Another disturbing detail that came out in trial today: Sandusky's wife once walking in on her husband and Victim 4 engaged in sexual activity. The boy was sharing a hotel room with Jerry and Dottie Sandusky, when Jerry tried to threaten him into oral sex in the bathroom. The door was slightly ajar, and Dottie demanded, "What are you doing in there?"

But aside from the explicit descriptions of what went on between them, Victim 4's testimony was also a sad reflection of the confusing "relationship" that develops among child sexual abusers and their victims.

I didn't have a dad around, I didn't have a father figure. This is something good. I'm in high school at this point, people are jealous, other kids are jealous, and they want to tease you. They're saying things like you're being molested by Jerry, you're butt buddies. It really is happening but I've got to pretend like it's not happening to everybody else. If I ever said anything, it would have been so much worse. I denied it forever.

Victim 4 is one of the eight alleged victims testifying. Sandusky is charged with 52 counts of sexual abuse involving a total of 10 boys over a period of 15 years.
