French Madonna Fans Demand Refund, Chant 'Slut' and 'Whore' After Singer Performs Abbreviated Set

What was supposed to be an "intimate" concert for Madonna fan club members ended in public outcry after audience members gathered at the 2,700-seat Olympia Theatre in Paris became disgruntled over the singer's abrupt departure just 45-minutes into her set.

With ticket prices ranging from $100 to $350 many in attendance took exception to the brief 8-song performance and began booing loudly. In footage from the show, some fans can be heard demanding a refund and chanting "salope" — an expletive meaning "slut" or "whore," according to NME.

The official YouTube rebroadcast of the event was allegedly edited to cut out the commotion, and the comments have been disabled without explanation.

In a somewhat amusing twist, the concert, which was not originally part of Madonna's MDNA tour, was organized "to celebrate France's tolerance" in the wake of Madge's controversial swastika stunt, which angered far-right French politician Marine Le Pen.
