The Last Stand, directed by acclaimed South Korean filmmaker Kim Ji-woon (The Good, the Bad, the Weird), is best known for featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger in his first lead role in nearly a decade.

The action film tells the story of border town sheriff Ray Owens (Schwarzenegger) who left the LAPD "following a bungled operation." A notorious drug baron and his gang, on the run from the FBI with a hostage in tow, force Owens to join law enforcement officers in a last-stand effort to take down the criminals "before they cross the border."

Co-starring Rodrigo Santoro, Zach Gilford, Forest Whitaker, Genesis Rodriguez, Jaimie Alexander, Peter Stormare, Luis Guzmán, and Johnny Knoxville, The Last Stand is due in theaters Januray 18th.
