The New York Times drew first blood in its war against the peroxide hairdo known as Guy Fieri. After Pete Wells wrote his now-viral review of Fieri's Times Square tourist-trap house-of-horrors restaurant, Guy's American Kitchen & Bar, Fieri fired back on national television.

It looks like Fieri took the words to heart, after all. After the staff at paid a visit to the restaurant, they noticed that the watermelon margarita — which Wells described as "nuclear waste" — had been stricken from its menu.

Little by little, one by one.
