A Scooby-Doo Reboot Is in the Works, Because Two Movies Weren't Enough

Warner Bros. announced today that they're rebooting the live-action Scooby-Doo franchise to haunt children's dreams with the visage of an animated Great Dane once again. The 2002 film grossed $275 million worldwide. Its 2004 sequel: $180 million.

The films starred Freddie Prinze Jr., Sarah Michelle Gellar, Matthew Lillard, and Linda Cardellini as teen sleuths Mystery Inc., which still sounds absurd. This movie is ostensibly in addition to the animated film Warner Bros. gave the greenlight to last year.

But the most pressing question facing this Scooby movie: Will they get Sugar Ray?
