Ann B. Davis, an Emmy-award winning actress famous for her role as Alice on the Brady Bunch died today after suffering a traumatic fall earlier this week. She was 88.

Davis won two Emmys for her role on the 1950's sitcom, The Bob Cummings Show, but her breakthrough role was as Alice, the joke-cracking housekeeper on the Brady Bunch.

Davis's agent told NBC that she fell in the shower on Saturday and became comatose. She died this morning at a San Antonio hospital.
