Catholic Church Targets Brooklynites with 'Hipster Jesus' Ad Campaign

What exactly made the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn proclaim Jesus "the original hipster" in its new campaign ad? A really obscure bible verse. You've probably never heard of it.

Actually, no one seems to know — not even the Church itself, apparently.

But, hey, he's wearing Converse sneakers. And he was totally into Christianity before it became a religion.

Anyway, the Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn is all about diversity now. Wait, do hipsters like diversity? They like to pretend they like diversity?

Perfect.
