Liberty County Sheriff's deputies yesterday raided a cockfighting operation in Dayton, Texas, after receiving an anonymous tip and when they arrived they found a children's party going on, with a waterslide and picnic table. The party scene, from MyFoxHouston:

Several suspects sped away in their cars, some even crashing into one another and driving through a wooden fence, police said.

As the children stood by the waterslide, crying, police officers discovered a grisly scene of dead and dying fowl — some suffering severe blood loss and cuts. The birds were found just feet from where the children were playing, police said.

Classy! Let the kids have a blast on the waterslide and eat some hot dogs while the adults lay down bets on their favorite fighting birds. Police also recovered a cockfighting ring and scales, as well as birds strapped with razor blades. At least two people were arrested.
