Then to make a long story short, "further investigation" led the cops to a house in the Bronx, where they found 310 pounds of weed. I guess when you have 310 pounds of weed at home, driving around with 25 pounds in the trunk seems like reasonable emergency planning. You could get stuck in traffic, lost in the woods, etc.
