The dapper, well-groomed Rellie works in finance, but he's better known for his social presence and for his Brit designer wife, Lucy Sykes.

Backstory

The son of a British diplomat, Rellie was raised in London and attended the right schools (Eton, Cambridge) before joining the investment bank Schroders. Stints in the Singapore and New York offices followed, and he remained with the company until 1996, when he went off on his own and co-founded Business Development Asia LLC, which assists American companies seeking to invest in Asia. It's not his banking career, though, that's made him something of a name in town—it's his ubiquity on the social circuit. If there's a society photographer in the house, you can count on Euan and his wife Lucy to jump in front of the flashbulbs.

Personal

Rellie and Sykes were introduced to each other by Brit author/journo Toby Young, who used to live with Euan and used to date Lucy. The couple married in 2002, and their wedding was featured in the February 2003 issue of Town & Country. Euan and Lucy now have two sons, both of whose full names are insanely pretentious—Heathcliff Felix Alastair Euan Rellie was born in July 2003 and Titus Jasper Jake Icarus Rellie was born in March 2007. The Rellies live in the West Village, and purchased a four-bedroom 19th century Bridgehampton cottage in June 2007.

No joke

Rellie's old roommate, American Pie director Chris Weitz, scripted a WB sitcom, Off Centre, about living with a British playboy banker named Euan; the show ran from 2001 to 2002.
