Four people accused of kidnapping and torturing a California marijuana dispensary owner —cutting his penis off in the process — were arrested and charged this week for their roles in the brutal crime.

Ryan Anthony Kevorkian, 34, and Naomi Josette Kevorkian, 33, were arrested Friday in Fresno, while Hossein Nayeri, 24, was nabbed in Prague. The alleged fourth participant, Kyle Shirakawa Handley, 34, was arrested a year ago.

According to police, the four kidnapped and tortured the dispensary owner — who had brought Handley on a trip to Vegas the year before the attack — because they believed he had money hidden in the desert.

Authorities say the group "shadowed" the man, following him to the desert, where they mistakenly believed he was hiding cash. But unfortunately for all involved, he was only in Palm Springs for investment meetings.

Then, they went to the man's house, bound and kidnapped him and his roommate's girlfriend, and tortured the pair with a blowtorch.

The group brought him to the desert where they thought the cash was hidden and apparently cut off his penis, poured bleach on him, and fled, bringing the penis with them so that "it couldn't be reattached."

The man and the woman eventually flagged down police and survived their injuries.
