Everybody in College Gets Good Grades Now

Everybody in College Gets Good Grades NowIn my day, college grades were evenly distributed on a "curve," which was determined by...well who knows, we were all so blunted back then. The point is, you can now safely accuse kids these days of getting everything for free.

A new study of 200 four-year colleges found the following distribution of grades:

  • A: 43%
  • B: 34%
  • C: 15%
  • D and F: a paltry, piddling sum
Nearly 80% of all grades are A's or B's. Sure. How will our college graduates be prepared for "the real world," if they're not prepared for utter failure?
