Griff the Invisible: Jason Stackhouse Is the World’s Saddest Superhero

Here's a trailer for Griff the Invisible, an Australian indie starring True Blood's resident hotbod (quiet, Skars fans) Ryan Kwanten. He's a superhero who does good, but he's made lonely because of his secret identity. But then he finds love!

Is it just me or is this trailer oddly affecting? I suppose the wistful indie pop helps, but for all the superhero skewing movies that have come out recently, like Kick Ass and Super, this is the first one that goes for a serious emotional hook rather than a spoofy kind of thing. And I like it! I think it's a neat idea. So if you can get over the laughable idea that Ryan Kwanten, who looks like this, could ever be a weird, loveless loner, then this movie just might be good.
