Wes Anderson's next flick looks awesome!
But the first official trailer for The Grand Budapest Hotel seems to dispel that notion by appearing to be, as one viewer put it, his most Wes Anderson-ey film yet.
Starring Ralph Fiennes, who, believe it or not was Anderson's second choice after Johnny Depp, the film tells the story of Gustave H., "a legendary concierge at a famous European hotel between the wars," and the lobby boy (Tony Revolori) he takes on as his protege.
From the synopsis:
The story involves the theft and recovery of a priceless Renaissance painting and the battle for an enormous family fortune — all against the back-drop of a suddenly and dramatically changing Continent.
Also starring F. Murray Abraham, Mathieu Amalric, Adrien Brody, Willem Dafoe, Jeff Goldblum, Harvey Keitel, Jude Law, Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Saoirse Ronan, Jason Schwartzmann, Tilda Swinton, Tom Wilkinson, and Owen Wilson, The Grand Budapest Hotel will open wide March 7, 2014.
