Marijuana is an odd drug! Sometimes when you're stoned you fall asleep in the middle of taking a bite of a cookie. And then sometimes you steal an ambulance from outside a house fire at 4 a.m. and drive across your neighbors' lawns.

Travis Ward, 28, was arrested in Phoenix over the weekend for being (and doing) the latter, having jacked an ambulance that was left running on the street as firefighters fought off a "raging blaze at a home in west Phoenix." He managed to go "a few blocks" (apparently across lawns and through, literally, a stop sign) before ending by "plowing into a house."

Luckily, no one was hurt, either in the fire or the early-morning road trip. The ambulance, according to Fire Captain Troy Caskey, was "wrecked." Just like Mr. Ward!
