The Perils of Having a Vogue Editor for a Mother

The Perils of Having a Vogue Editor for a MotherNew York party fixtures Julia and Vladimir Restoin-Roitfeld, children of French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld opened up to New York Magazine. Apparently it can be a little strange to have a ridiculously fashionable parent.

"As a kid, you just want to fit in, you want to look like everyone else," Julia told the magazine. "You don't want to be in leopard shirts and leather pants." Also, on the topic of pants, her mother shows up to her childrens' parties without any on: "Mrs. Robinson as Lady Gaga, all black lace and dominatrix boots, topped off with a cape." Consider how you might feel if yours started doing the same.
