Today Good Morning America aired the first segment in Diane Sawyer's two-part interview with drunken anti-Semite Mel Gibson. You can't tell from the quality of the clip, but he was a bit red and noticeably sweaty throughout the ordeal (which wasn't nearly as harsh as an Oprah-level lashing — but maybe tomorrow's will be better!). When Sawyer reads his comments back to him, a wide-eyed Gibson notes that it "sounds horrible." Yeah, dude — that's why you're there. Revealing your desire to murder inanimate objects doesn't really help your case, either.
