We were intrigued when an email arrived this morning with the subject line "Dan Abrams." We were even more intrigued when we read the message:

His makeup job was horrendous this AM on the Today show. He looked like a drag queen.

The new MSNBC GM as a drag queen? Quick, to the TiVo! Alas, we don't think he's so much drag queeny as way, way overtanned — and that could just be his kickin' Hamptons share talking, not a malicious makeup artist.

Or else maybe this is his first step in moving MSNBC to an entirely gender-bending anchor lineup.
