See, the problem with hiring a bunch of funny, smartassy writers and designers for your magazine — as Giant present Jamie Hooper did — and then firing a bunch and also alienating the rest — as Giant president Jamie Hooper did — is that sometimes they'll use their skills to mock you. With, say, an antagonistic fake cover.

Yup, that's a problem.

UPDATE: We're told this cover was actually made some time ago, for a birthday. Which is why the jokes are nice-mean, not mean-mean.

UPDATE UPDATE: And all those guys who've been axed? Just replaced, according to FishbowlNY.
