But now you can let Gawker be your methadone, because after many hours of hard work and NSA-level computer sleuthing (read: an innocuous Google search), we've hacked into the still-unveiled new site. Ladies and gentlemen, prepare yourselves: Here is the new Observer front page.

You can navigate through the rest of the site from there, where you'll discover all your old favorites, a lot less pink, and also an entire "Daily Observer" section, featuring information presented in a fascinating new quick-hit, reverse-chronological, opinionated format. There are four such offerings, The Politicker (which has been around for a while), The Real Estate, The Daily Transom, and The Media Mob.

Hmm. Imagine that: One of these newfangled web journals, entirely dedicated to the media?
