The Confessore Chronicles: Mastering the Obvious, Lyrically

Last week the Times's Metro metrosexual Nick Confessore brought us an elegiac 750 words, teased prominently on B1, relaying the general-contracting news that a Windsor Terrace bar is replacing its floor.

Today he brings us an equally well-wrought 1,300 words — this time dominating B1 — announcing his discovery that people prefer going to Coney Island in the summer.

We can't wait for next week's bombshell: 2,500 poetic words unveiling the major news that Times Square is, apparently, largely full of tourists. We're sure that'll make A1.

We've said it before: The kid's good.
