We tend not to offer much coverage of Perez Hilton here at Gawker, because, you know, ewwwsville. Still, we're not without sympathy for the big gossipy dynamo; he's had a hell of a day. First he got served by the paparrzi during the donut hour and now Jossip reports that VH1 negged his proposed reality show.

One TV insider tells us, in no uncertain terms, that the footage "sucks" and that "the big celeb he has on the show is his songwriter friend Diane Warren. Apparently when they realized the celeb factor is pretty C-list, they head to Miami to do segment with Gloria Estefan."

This is so obvious that it goes without saying, but what the hell: How C-list could your celebrities be to induce rejection from a network whose stable of stars include Brooke Hogan and the guy from The Partridge Family? Perez, you're in our prayers.
