You think you New Yorkers are liberal? Pshaw. According to a new study from The Bay Area Center For Voting Research, New York City isn't the most liberal city in the country. Heck, it's not even in the top 20. Thanks mostly, we suspect, to people from Staten Island, our beloved home is merely the 21st most liberal city in the U. S. of A., trailing such liberal enclaves as Cleveland, Hartford and Newark (!!!). The most liberal city? Detroit. The most conservative? Provo, Utah. We're trying to think of what's most different about those two cities ... hmm ...
