On Saturday afternoon, hundreds of hipsters queued outside PS 1's stern concrete walls. Inside, interminably cool record label DFA hosted the summer's first Warm Up party. A DJ booth shared space with a translucent makeshift cathedral called Liquid Sky, constructed by the interminably cool LA-based architects Ball Nogues. In the cloud of pot smoke and body humor, some found love and some missed connections. Our own Nikola Tamindzic was there; his gallery is here and ours is right here.
