Saturday's Post details the lengths to which one will go to buy a condo: In order to secure a condo in Williamsburg's 113 South Second, Stephenson Brown arrived at the building at 4 PM on a Saturday. Though he was eager to be first in line, Brown knew the open house wasn't until Sunday afternoon, so he brought an electric blanket and pulled an all-nighter. Come noon on Sunday, Brown presented his check to a sales agent and secured himself a $625,000 one-bedroom unit on the fourth floor.
See? With a little hard work and perseverence, real estate dreams can come true. Do note, however, that Brown is also 23-years-old. For those of you without youth or a trust fund on your side, the nightmare continues.
