Over at The Morning News, Dorothy Gambrell wanted to use science to sniff out hipster neighborhoods, but instead ended up locating centers of bohemians. (Bohemians, of course, are what hipsters sometimes become when they get old. Other hipsters become yuppies. A smaller percentage become poorly-dressed homeless alcoholics.)
Bohemians are quantified by the inverse relationship between income and education. Then there's some science and math which I didn't really get. But, there are pretty pretty graphs!
