Tom Cruise Is STILL Moving To The Dakota, Source Insists

At this point, our "inside" source on the "Tom Cruise to the Dakota" story is more interesting to us than the actual Tom Cruise, mainly because he or she has an answer for everything. Today's (always accurate!) Page Six reports that:

THE Internet has buzzed with rumors that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes will soon become neighbors of Yoko Ono and Lauren Bacall at the famed Dakota co-op on Central Park West. Gawker has posted several items from "inside" tipsters that the Hollywood couple has a contract to buy a 10-room apartment, once owned by Leonard Bernstein, with a $25.5 million asking price. But Prudential Douglas Elliman superbroker Dolly Lenz tells The Post's Braden Keil the story is only half-true. The apartment "is in contract," she said, adding that the undisclosed price would be a record for the building. "But it certainly isn't the Cruises or any other celebrities who bought it."
Does our mystery friend refute that? You bet your ass!
Dolly stuck her beak in Page Six because she's pissed she didn't handle the Cruise deal, which isn't the Bernstein apartment and is far bigger deal for obvious reasons (the celebrity angle and the combining with adjacent apartment). She wants credit for the Bernstein deal, which is a record, but one that will only stand for few weeks until Cruise closes. She's a publicity whore.
Okay, skeptics, ball's in your court!
