If you're going to include the word "dub" in the name of your band, bass had better be the focus. Fortunately Exploring the dangers of (ROIR), which celebrates its release tonight, makes good on that rule. The "Trio" part of this New York-based outfit's moniker refers to guitarist DP Holmes, bassist Stu Brooks, and drummer Joe Tomino, all of whom moonlight on keyboards and the other obvious dub necessity melodica.
