This city is going to the whores. Now our spies are seeing poledancers in Union Square:
not making this up, just west of union square, west on 14th st., chicks are pole dancing in a storefront window. i work around the corner and there is a crowd of dudes watching (including cops). looks like it's a promo for a film festival or something (don't care... me like the walk to lunch)...

Well, drat, what looked like a new strip club nestled between Radio Shack and Subway is nothing more than a really odd promotion for the premiere of the soon-to-be cancelled 5ive Days to Midnight starring Timothy Hutton on the Sci-Fi Channel. Thought 14th west of University was becoming the new Skank Strip, given the Courtney Love Wendy's is there too and all. At least the faux strip club gave the city's hourly workers something to do for the afternoon...
Update: At least someone in this town carries a camera.
