It
s official. Beyonc
can do anything. She can even derive a sense of empowerment from giving her man a bath and bringing Hova his bedroom slippers, no questions axed. As the November issue of Vanity Fair reveals, the "No, No, No" singer has morphed into a "Yes, Yes, Yes" woman:
Having Jay in her life has changed a few of her attitudes about how men and women relate to one another too, she said, which helped her transition from writing songs like "Independent Women" and "Survivor" to man-tending anthems such as "Cater 2 U," in which she sings about bringing him slippers and drawing his bath."I grew up," Beyonc says. "I feel it's still very strong, because in order to be a strong woman, you have to have a strong man. There's nothing wrong with women doing that for their man if their man deserves it and he does the same for you."
Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Lucretia Mott, and Alice Paul just collectively pooed in their graves. Meanwhile, when it comes time to having kids of her own, the magazine reports, Beyonc would love to have a nanny but "just for help" (you know, as opposed to the rest of us who hire them for a little engagement-destroying "punanny" action on the side). Oh, and she also says that she and Jay-Z aren't married.
This is all well and good, but the real question here is when is she going to develop an eating disorder so we can finally write the headline, "The Unbearable Lightness of Beyonc "?
