I was waaaaaayyy better than I thought it was going to be. I didn't expect to even finish it yet I realized by the end that I would definitely keep up with it.
It seems to be one of the few titles that has some decent artwork as well.
The book Vector Prime and all those that have followed have been good. I have read every Star Wars book and I almost consider them more canon than the movies (not sure how that works in my head actually)
I would suggest going to your local library and picking up Vector Prime.
I truly enjoyed Thor. It wasn't ground breaking, but it was a good intro to the character.
I was extremely disappointed in X:FC.
I don't know if it helps or hurts that X-Men is my favorite comic.
The movie was just awful.
This guys comment summed it up for me pretty well (spoilers)
Painfully mediocre. Wholly underwhelming. Humorless and curiously inert. The film lacked wit, subtlety, and ANYTHING resembling an original or inspired idea or concept.
I am not sure how this affected the ratings (if at all) but AMC is free for a month on Dish.
The good news is that I get to watch the first 4 episodes on TV. The bad news is that it will cost me $15 bucks a month extra for a channel upgrade when I only want to watch one so I will have to Hulu or torrent the other ones.
AMC should fight to get into all the cable/satellite packages so more people can watch.
@small-fox: Wait until Michonne shows up. If you want to risk some spoilers you should look her up but I think they are going to introduce her in the show the same way they did in the comic.
@James Taylor: I agree. They seemingly have some glimmer of memory left in them.
The wife had the fever in that house they were staying in so she wandered up to it, same with the girl and the bunny.
I don't remember if that happened in the comics or not but it is a nice way of "humanizing" the zombies a bit to give our characters some depth in their decision to kill them.
