I can't quite understand why they decided to post what is essentially the same exact show (literally) in between two episodes of the original. Is NBC sure that viewers are THAT easy? Why not put it elsewhere on the schedule? (Yeah, yeah, yeah...I know...That's NBC's "Comedy Block.")
Hopefully it develops further. Pohler is good. And it's only the pilot.
Nick Offerman. He's great. He was good on "American Auto-Body" too.
But to then take it out on a guy who's definitely NOT a "Zoo Mornings!" radio guy is about as bad as it can get.
The looks on the band members' faces as this is all going on is fantastic.
BBT needs a healthy dose of "Get Your Own Gigs Without Your Oscar Win Behind You."
Ouch. That was painful.
"Sometimes when a man's with a woman he gets a feeling and has to do something about it...Understand?"
I figured I was due for a beating of some sort for drawing the picture so I just cried and said I didn't do it.
He offered no further explanation.
Took me about 8 years to finally grasp what he was talking about.
God bless the 70's.
"Taping" not "filming."
Please, dear Jesus, don't ever make that mistake again.
(Committing Reality folk to "film" is just too disheartening a thought.)
Hopefully Movieline lets you guys bring your snark. (And your booze.)
How exactly is that a decision making body? And who would assume that "actor side" reps would ever side against a union member in favor of producers who're notoriously known for being from "the dark side?"
Seems like a whacked way of having decisions made.
Sorry, here it is.
The imdb posting is still there.
Give him (Seinfeld) credit for not rushing back to the well right away. He went out strong and has let it go by without needing to be on top. Nothing wrong with that.
But slap Silverman for adding yet ANOTHER reality prospect to the pile.
NBC
Nothing But Crap
(add your own "Pac Man Dying" sound effect here)
His parent's theater in Chicago is somewhat of a big deal there.
If AEA does this to a high profile union member then other high profile mems might say, "What the hell do I need the union for?" and leave the union. Which could, in and of itself, cause the death of the union if enough high profile mems quit.
Those with legal knowledge better than mine might have answers to these questions to prove I'm an idiot.
"The Chevy Chase Show."
This can't possibly be true.
McMahon is old. While it would be genius for the first episode (really, REALLY genius) is there any truth to this anywhere else? I can't find any notice of this via google. That would be a HUGE announcement. I can't possibly see it being a reality. Can anyone confirm with a news source outside of imdb?
Sorry.
I meant: "VERY interesting comment, uncivily."
Wow...That's kind of a genius comment.
I hadn't thought about that before but you could be right.
Then again, if the devoted "AD" fans were the ones this was aimed at, why would it matter? There weren't enough to keep the thing on air.
VERY interesting comment, Image. Good job.
