I also thought it was dangerously close in everything to the office. But what Chris Reese posted above is true. The detail they showed about public meetings being filled with lunatics who just want to speak was spot-on perfect. Spend ANY night at your local City Council meeting and you'll see it's true.
I can't quite understand why they decided to post what is essentially the same exact show (literally) in between two episodes of the original. Is NBC sure that viewers are THAT easy? Why not put it elsewhere on the schedule? (Yeah, yeah, yeah...I know...That's NBC's "Comedy Block.")
Hopefully it develops further. Pohler is good. And it's only the pilot.

Trying to accept that he possibly has had to deal with this 20 times already in "interviews" makes me think he just snapped. Maybe he had a convo the night before with his PR reps saying, "I will not stand for this anymore. It ain't fair to the dudes in the band."
But to then take it out on a guy who's definitely NOT a "Zoo Mornings!" radio guy is about as bad as it can get.
The looks on the band members' faces as this is all going on is fantastic.

Nothing will happen. Maybe a minor fine. At best. If they fine him or punish him it opens doors for the producers (I'd believe) to have a ruling against him to use in a civil suit, no?
If AEA does this to a high profile union member then other high profile mems might say, "What the hell do I need the union for?" and leave the union. Which could, in and of itself, cause the death of the union if enough high profile mems quit.
