There are days when I wonder if "inhuman" isn't an odd kind of compliment. My cat frequently displays more compassion and selflessness than some world leaders I know.

Ha! No, that's a good guess but my commenter name is from Thackeray's novel Vanity Fair. The heroine is named Becky Sharp. She's kind of a nasty piece of work but she's also really smart and cunning and witty.
