Al, can you bring up a technical question to the boys at Gawker? I found a way of displaying a 2nd page of comments, but it would be most helpful if they paginated them as they did before. What do you think?

Hello AL - I figured I'd follow up to our comments here instead of in the thread about the R5.
A Caterham - a great car for this area. Sorry that you had to let it go, but I understand the balancing act of family and toys. I have the old M3 in my avatar - I use it mostly for autocross with the philly region of the scca. I've been a reader of Jalopnik for a number of years, but have never been much of a commenter.
Good to meet you.
Chris

Al,
I saw your Seven on Sunday at a local meet - great ride, as soon as I heard there was an orange Seven there, I knew it was yours! Good to see it's in safe hands with an enthusiast too!

Hey there Al,
From your business web site, I see we are in the same industry. I'm at G2 direct & digital, however on the west coast, so I don't feel any competitive pangs. Great "how-to" commentary today, things have been getting a bit unruly here as of late. BTW, very nice web site for Mint Advertising. Well done that.Take care,

Al, come over and take a look at our Challenger coverage over on Automotive Traveler (automotivetraveler.com) and leave some comments!

@Al Navarro: Then you're in luck! -VW(oA?)'s director of marketing is this smartass guy named Stefan, and at AdWeek a few years ago he specifically gave a talk on Cherry Picking small but awesome shops and how that risk paid off with more interesting stuff than the weak, bland, "Just Trying Not To Lose The Client" work that many big AORs turn out. Where there's a will, there's a way.

Al, Thanks for the offer about a ride in your se7en. I live in the Hartford, CT area. Will message you when May comes closer around!

Al, just figured out this messaging thing. Not real intuitive...
I'm a financial analyst in banking, since you were curious. It pays the bills and gives my left brain a workout. I'd love to work for an auto manufacturer, but I'm not readily planning to move to Detroit or NJ, so that limits me :D Though Nissan is 2.5 hours up the road in Nashville, so that's some opportunity if I can get noticed for my relatively few years of work experience. But then again, my career doesn't run my life--it's the other way around, and I'm grateful for that.
What about yourself?
And yes, I do live in the Birmingham AL area. I also toured that Merc plant several years ago. That was a big deal for us, since in the past decade it's also helped attract Honda (Odyssey, Pilot), Hyundai (Santa Fe, Sonata), and Toyota (V8 engines) to the state.
Nice Se7en, by the way. I've always been fascinated by those things...so much info out there! If you have a particular noob info source you're fond of, please pass it along:

Hi Al.
I love your car ad reviews. Here's an ad for the citroen C-crosser that I find interesting:

I dunno what happened with that...Navalb was how I was ID'd on my highschool computer, and it's the user name I've had on AY OH ELL for like, ever. Should be correct now. For the record, I've written 2 more of those Ad Critiques, and am just waiting for Ray to run them.

Wha's with the new handle? Is that for "Navarro, Al, version B?"
