One of my stepdads won his only Emmy as head writer for Laugh-In. Always said Henry was perhaps the most beloved of the entire cast, save for Ruth. R I P, Henry Gibson.
Is there a new 'April Fools' thing in June now?
Really? Only one of you thinks that the DTV conversion wasn't, like, 90% of the reason? the fact that there's snow where the damn thing used to be free would seem to prevent people from watching tv. Wonder if the Nielsen boxes are still tuned in to what people are watching?
PS: Tatiana von Furstenberg was once my intern.
This is like the reverse of "Six Degrees of Separation". He really IS The Steven's son, and I'm sure nobody ever believes him, at first. And he has to prove it. A LOT.
@cdmunch: I'm with you. Not as in, your "+1", I realize, but...WITH you.
I'm trying to think of a 'sensual' singer. Oh PLEASE don't let it be Robin Thicke.
So, is the SAG AFTRA item an April Fool's?
@thomashenry: Jack Nicholson said it best: "In movies, you hack off a tit with a sword, it's an 'R'. Kiss the tit, it's an 'X'."
@BowlingForDollars: Well, there might be, but one of the criteria for being an MPAA reviewer is you have to be a parent of a child under 18. Because only people with children are qualified to tell the rest of Amurrica what it can and can't see, right?

PS: More than a few MPPA-holes have been at it quite long enough so their children are not only not under 18, but probably have children of their OWN by now.

PPS: I just made up "MPAA-holes." Feel free to use it, everybody!

"Oh man, this "Gondolier" franchise is gonna be my 'Driving Miss Daisy'!"
Joan: "How sweet! MORE roses from Franchot. Now I'll have to spend the next two weeks with my legs in the air."

Bette: "Whatsa matter? Can't afford a vase?"

Thank you and RIP, Charles Pierce...

Oh, I always get Cat Power mixed up with Cat Deeley ('So You Think You Can Dance' host-bot). And her brother, Thingama.
Too long to be great.
Wow, I just saw Quantum of Solace there at the Village last night. So THAT'S why it's also playing at teh Bruin...

RE: Twilight, however; I call SHOTGUN (dibs, not the firearm) on the Taylor Lautner bandwagon. All the bunny girlz can HAVE Bobby P. Taylor had grown up NICELY! (Pssst...is he legal yet? God I hope so...I'm NOT a pervio!)

I was at "Wicked" last night, but only stayed for the first act, making that ultimate sacrifice so as not to enjoy myself too much when my brothaz and sistahs were laying their lives on the line!
Is "Solitary" the sequel to the Liberace movie? Maybe Mary Louise is playing Totie Fields.
Yes, by all means -- bring some people not at all associated with the network brand to really add to its sheen. My first thoughts are: Placido Domingo, Yoko Ono and Jerry Lewis (but only because William S. Bourroughs is not alive to be my third choice).
Look, anyone who names his film after one of Duran Duran's lesser hits might have something interesting to say.
"Alrighty, Margaret. Just who is the Master of your ass? you bethcha, o my garsch!"
