PS it turns out it is not THE Team in Training. They use those words, but it isn't the same organization. Someone let me know. Sorry about that!

So good to hear your experience with the marathon. I cried when I signed up for it, I cry after training, pretty sure I will bawl after finishing, but I'm glad to know that is normal. Thank you for your example!
