"My fellow Americans, I'm pleased to tell you today that I've signed legislation that will outlaw Scoble forever. We begin bombing in five minutes."
That video bit was everywhere thanks to Ally McBeal. The Star Wars kid had so many copycats, that oft times people who thought they had seen it, hadn't. Death also comes in threes.
In the 40s it was Hollywood movies and escapist literature, in the 50s beatniks, cars and speed (both kinds), in the 60s, hippie culture, Eastern Mysticism and new earthy drugs, in the 70s it was television, old Playboy magazines, disco and violent comics, in the 80s video games, heavy metal and Walkmans, in the 90s, drugs, Internet, pornography, and in the 00's, it's all the fault of the entertainment industrial complex.

The 3Q was a good one - Macromedia digestion full, the stock demand remains strong, and futurewise, CS3 is a milestone. He's going out on a high note, 7 years of fat. And Chizen is not of the narcissistic long-goodbyes sort, perhaps breaking PR protocol but vintage Chizen.
My take at least...but you can read whatever conspiracy theory into it you want. The market will look at the boring fundamentals, and all will be well.
