Disconnected, 2008, mixed media
The artist has taken elements essential to modern day communication and reinterpreted them to achieve a sense of disconnection from both physical place and the greater electronic world.
2nd Gear: "Buon giorno, I am Tony from FiatChrysler. Let's further, how you say in English, dilute the history of cars that were not merda, with cars that are merda."
3rd Gear: More forbidden fruit. I blame Ralph Nader.
4th Gear: It is purple.
5th Gear: I actually think that it is a good business decision by Ford. If someone is going to offer favorable terms take it.
6th Gear: Will this actually be sold in the US?
Reverse 1: Probably the best politician in living memory was Ronald Reagan. He was an actor, so he could actually remember his lines. None of the other recent presidents or those malignant narcissists that have sought the office really had the acting chops to pull off the role convincingly. The current idiot, the idiot before him, the idiot before that idiot, and the idiot father of the idiot before the idiot before the current idiot all seemed like they were in a bad community theatre production of Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. That is why I am supporting Inanimate Carbon Rod for President.

Reverse 5: "In establishing the guidelines, the government drew heavily on recommendations drafted by the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers, a trade organization in Washington, D.C." No doubt Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood's next employer.
2nd Gear: And I am the Emperor of Canada and I have decided to outfit all the Mounties with unicorns.
3rd Gear: France always surrenders to Germany.
4th Gear: Expensive VW.
5th Gear: Expensive VW.
6th Gear: Expensive VW.
Reverse 1: I guess that the whole Old GM vs. New GM thing didn't matter with such things.
Reverse 2: By George, I read it as the Mazda Takei.
