If he actually said that - recently - I would think it would be all over the place.
Not really a fair point since the writer was unable to obtain any evidence listing him as a Mormon. So at this point the only way some future historian would have any indication that he was a Mormon would be this article - which is - rather annoyingly - entirely speculation.
Are you sure about that? I know there's a myth about lice preferring clean hair, but it isn't true - they don't care either way. In general scabies can't live in clean places so I am skeptical.
Anyway they were filthy and regularly kept the company of filthy women, so it would seem they don't mind unclean skin.
I lived in a share house for a few months after relocating to Sydney. Two of the French guys in the house got scabies and didn't think it was necessary to tell anyone. Eventually one of them was so itchy that he went to the doctor - and when he came home casually mentioned that he had bugs living under his skin.
Luckily I never got it - and moved out a week later!

Have to disagree with you there! Both of those are myths. There is nothing wrong with splitting an infinitive or ending a sentence with at as long as it changes the meaning of the sentence. For example - 'Where are you at?' is wrong because it means the same thing without the at. But in 'What are you getting at?' the at changes the meaning and is fine.
